Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent World Alzheimer’s Day fundraising challenge! Together, we raised $3,000 which brings our total fundraising to $182,000 as we head into race weekend. Speaking of race weekend, TOMORROW you will receive an email outlining all LOGISITICS.

Fundraising Deadline Reminder: Please note that each in-person participant is required to meet the $150 fundraising minimum, and each virtual participant is required to meet the $100 fundraising commitment minimum, by October 3, 2025, at 6am. Your credit card will only be charged if you do not meet the fundraising commitment minimum of $100 or $150 by October 3, 2025, at 6am. Please alert our team of any cash, checks, or matching gifts in advance of this deadline. The fundraising requirement is separate from all Maine Marathon registration fees.
Fundraising Tip: Looking for a fun way to cross your fundraising finish line? Have people donate to add a song to your race-day playlist! For an amount that you set ($5/$10/$15/$20), supporters can add any song they choose to your playlist. We have heard that runners get everything from children’s music (Does Baby Shark ring a bell?) to old school, and even, completely random songs added to their playlists! What’s best is that it keeps you guessing and laughing during all your miles!
